This is a very special show with both LMB and the Asphalt Cowboys to help "give back" to some of our fans. We need everyone out for this one! Both of these families have been true supporters of LMB and the Asphalt Cowboys. Both bands are donating their time. Lorenas has remodeled and now is "smoke free."
There will be a $5 cover with 100% of it going to Samantha Delong (daughter of Tanya & Tony DeLong) to go toward her medical bills. Samantha was in CCU 40+ days after complications from an aneurysm. She is home and doing well now, but has hundreds of thousands due, and we want to help.

***In August of 2010, Adrian Babykin started her sophomore year at North Forsyth HS. Within 3 weeks into the school year she was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. We were told that the Hodgkin's Lymphoma is one of the most curable cancers. Adrian went through 5 rounds of chemotherapy. During the 1st part of 2011, Adrian did not seem to be recovering from chemotherapy. In August 2011, She started her Junior Year of HS and was diagnosed with recurrent Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She again was treated with ch
emotherapy, this time followed by a stem cell transplant, and six weeks of radiation. Adrian is still recovering from these treatments. Since December she has been receiving blood or platelet transfusions every week. Now she is waiting on DR's orders on what to do next and still recovering from treatments.
So with that being said on Sunday Oct 7th we will be hosting our 2nd Annual Charity Car show hosted by WirkZ Performance!!! Bring your rides, bust out the wax, grab some cold drinks and show us why you have the best looking car in Atlanta!! Best of all its for a good cause! Trophies will be issued for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and are judged by the TK girls. So make sure you set aside some time on Sunday Oct 7th from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM @ 5325 Windward Pkwy. Forged Performance 8th Annual Open House

Well that time of the year is quickly approaching, as the summer season starts to come close and the number of track events slowly starts to dwindle, we here at Forged Performance begin preparing for our annual Open House & Dyno Day. This is a unique event that will give you the opportunity to peek inside our garage doors and see what goes on behind the scenes at our facility. You can expect to lay your eyes on a variety of performance automobiles on display and witness power tests throughout the day on eve...rything from extremely high horsepower GT-R’s, high-end exotics, fully track prepped Subarus and Evos, and MORE! Of course, Forged will provide lunch, catered by our friends and fellow motorsports enthusiasts over at Grand Champion BBQ. You have not experienced proper BBQ till you have given their award winning platters a try.
The event starts at 10am sharp and it is first come first serve on parking, dyno spots and the BBQ…so mark your calenders and don’t be late!

In honor of our 10 year anniversary we are offering $10 test-n-tune trials! As always pay outs will be based on turnouts. The event is as always hosted by Gadsm/Sedsm (same entity), and thanks to our title sponsor Topspeed Motorsports.
This event is a blast guys and it is not just about DSMs I hope the others will vouch for it. We do not profit from this event, but payout as much as possible to the racers. The goal is to have fun, bring the racing community together, and maybe make a little money if you win.

--Turn right onto Olde Perimeter Way (it is a shopping center)

Awards will be given for Highest Attendance and Highest Combined Horsepower on our in house Dynojet.
We will be offering 5% off of all parts purchased and 10% off of service performed during the event (only applicable to pre-scheduled work, must make an appointment before 8-28-12).
Food will be provided in part by Z1 Motorsports and with those willing to contribute to the event.
Only G/Z cars will be counted in the attendance competition, at the gate you will declare which group you wish to represent (meaning a Z can choose to represent Atlanta Gs, vise versa). The Group with the largest representation with receive a special gift from Z1 Motorsports, not the mention the bragging rights of being the MOST DEDICATED VQ GROUP IN ATLANTA!!!
The Dyno Competition will be based on OVERALL COMBINED HORSEPOWER. We will try to keep the quantity of cars even if participation allows, however a group with a larger number of willing participants would have a significant advantage. NA and FI cars are welcome. Dyno pulls will cost $30 for 3pulls (no AFR, Boost, etc). This was Z Atlanta's rookie year at the annual ZDayZ event and I couldn’t be happier to report back about it. Our group left North Georgia around 7:00am on Thursday the 17th and headed up to Forged Performance’s annual Top Dog competition/air strip challenge. This event was a huge success as there were more GTR’s and 500whp+ cars on site than I’ve ever seen in one area. Check out www.ForgedPerformance.com for more updates.
After spending a few hours watching cars top 150+ mph on the runway a few Z Atlanta members made the 2 hour trek over to Fontana Village to get everything set up for the remainder of the week. Z Atlanta spent the next 4 days meeting new friends, connecting with old ones, checking out all of the other cars, and still finding time to fit in a few runs on the Tail of the Dragon. Yesterday was a huge success for Z Atlanta and the entire Nissan community! We started the day off by meeting up before Caffeine & Octane and rolling in together around 7:00am. There were about 10 cars that initially met up; however, by 8:30am there was a Z presence of over 25 cars. WOW!
After spending a good part of the morning at C&O we decided to roll over to Gwinnett Place Nissan for the Nissan Showdown where there was a gathering of over 60 cars! The cars ranged from a fully restored 280z all the way up to a fully track-built Nissan GT-R. Progressive insurance was kind enough to sponsor the event and the raffle which sent 4 lucky winners home with a few new parts!
Z Atlanta would like to say “thank you” to each and every one of you that attended and made the event such a success. It’s our hope that Z Atlanta continues to maintain a dominant presence in the Atlanta area and is able to provide all “Z” owners with a place to call home!

I want to let all Z Atlanta members know that we have enlisted the services of a professional photographer in Atlanta to conduct and organize our first group photo shoot. The shoot will take place after the Nissan Showdown event on Sunday May 6th. We should get finished with the Nissan event around 3:00pm at which time we will caravan as a group to the first location.
Z Atlanta would like to take this unique opportunity to invite any Z enthusiasts to join. The photographer has offered their services for free; however, as we all know there are costs associated with everything. With that being said, we will be passing around a hat for donations to the photographer afterwards.
Sunday May 6th looks like it’s going to be a fun-filled day of Z events so start washing, waxing and shining up your cars! If you need any further information surrounding the events on the 6th please don’t hesitate to contact myself or another Z Atlanta administrator directly.
